Our Mission Statement
The purposes and objectives of this association is to provide the youth of Mount Olive Township with a supervised cheerleading program, whereby our youth can develop a sense of teamwork, team spirit, pride, sportsmanship, and discipline. This will assist in the building of healthier and stronger minds and bodies of our young people.
Our season begins on August 1st with 3 weeks of summer practices. During this time the girls will learn their Hello Cheer, Half-time Dance, Sideline Cheers and Sideline Dances. There is a parent show the last Thursday of practices, where the girls can show you everything they’ve learned. Summer dates will vary each year and will be given out at registration. Girls are allowed 4 unexcused misses for summer practices.
We kick off our season with a pep rally at Turkey Brook Park the Friday of Labor Day weekend. On Labor Day weekend, all squads cheer for our annual Trophy game except Flag. Once the season starts practices are 1 hour prior to game start time with the exception of any 8:30 am start time those teams will have a 1/2 hr practice prior to game. Girls are allowed 2 unexcused missed games per season. Schedules will come out in late August.
